The finishing of the chair was actually much easier than expected. I had previously bought some cording that matched the color scheme perfectly and deciding not to trim the back of the chair it actually ended up going on in one long continuous piece. Adding the cording I started on the outside underneath the chair, came up along the side of the arms, around the front, along the other arm and then tucked the end back underneath the chair. Voila!
