What are you going to do to stop the silence?

So, if you know me you know that I can't go a whole day being silent (I honestly probably can't go a whole hour) but even so I'm going to participate in the Day of Silence by speaking out...and spreading the word.   I am Catholic and after fiascos like a Cardinal saying that homosexuality leads to pedophilia  many people think that as a Catholic I am seriously anti-gay.  Well, they're wrong.  I grew up in a religion that taught that God loves everyone and that he created us all.  If this is true...why should I hate or persecute any of God's creations?  I also live in a country that believes that "all  men (and women) are created equal" therefore I don't have the right to say that someone else doesn't have rights...because we're all equal.   So speak out against the silence!

Music Monday

So I'm not usually into popular music because of my addiction to country and bluegrass music.  But during my drive home yesterday I heard this song and I LOVE it.  It's upbeat and fun and what I like about it is that it followed some other songs that were definite "get over someone songs" so it was fun in the juxtaposition and it was a great JAM to keep me awake on the drive back.  Enjoy!
